On Sunday, Detroit erased a 16-point halftime deficit before falling at Milwaukee in overtime by a 140-133 final score.

Malik Beasley nailed 7-of-11 from long distance and led six Detroit players in double figures with 23 points. Marcus Sasser scored 18 points on 7-for-19 shooting and dished out ten assists. Lindy Waters III added 18 points and six rebounds for the Pistons, who shot 48 percent from the field.

The New York Knicks won 27 of their 41 home games and are looking to make their first trip to the Eastern Conference Finals since 2000. The third-seeded Knicks (51-31) rank fifth in the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring a shade below 116 points per game. On Sunday, New York outscored Brooklyn by ten points in the third quarter to pull away for a 113-105 road victory. 

New York G Landry Shamet connected on 7-of-13 from the three-point line and finished with a game-high 29 points. Cameron Payne chipped in 21 points (6-6 FT) and seven assists. Precious Achiuwa added 18 points and nine rebounds for the Knicks, who converted 23-of-26 free-throw attempts. 

Detroit G Jaden Ivey is still recovering from a broken left fibula and is unlikely to play in this series. The Pistons took three out of four against the Knicks during the regular season with an average of 230 points being scored.
