The Timberwolves (42-32) rank sixth in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing a shade below 110 points per contest. On Friday, Minnesota knocked down 19-for-39 from long range during a 124-109 home victory versus Phoenix. 

Minnesota F Julius Randle tallied a game-high 25 points (9-15 FG), eight assists, and six rebounds. All-Star G Anthony Edwards contributed 20 points on 8-for-19 shooting and dished out five assists. Rudy Gobert added 17 points, 13 rebounds, and four steals for the Timberwolves. 

Detroit G Cade Cunningham missed Friday’s victory with a calf injury and is listed as day-to-day. These two teams rank in the top nine of the league in defensive efficiency, so the under is worth a look. The Timberwolves are healthier and will get the job done at home.
