Pistons vs Hawks Picks and Prediction – 2/23/2025

The Atlanta Hawks are a game below .500 at home and are currently a game behind two teams for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Hawks (26-30) rank 21st in the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring 116.6 points per game. On Thursday, Atlanta was unable to protect a 19-point first half lead during a 114-108 home loss versus Orlando. 

All-Star G Trae Young poured in a game-high 38 points on 13-for-28 shooting and dished out six assists. Caris LeVert scored 13 points on 6-for-13 from the floor in 28 minutes off the Atlanta bench. Number one overall draft pick Zaccharie Risacher added 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Hawks.

Detroit G Jaden Ivey (lower leg) has begun light weight-bearing activity and hopes to return later next month. The Hawks play at the second fastest tempo in the league and the Pistons rank tenth in that category. Look for Detroit to win on the road in a game that goes over the total.
