Nuggets vs Thunder Picks and Prediction – 3/9/2025

Denver F Aaron Gordon knocked down 7-of-10 from long distance and finished with 27 points. Christian Braun added 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists for the Nuggets. 

The Oklahoma City Thunder are riding a six-game winning streak and trail Cleveland by one game for the best record in the NBA. The Thunder (52-11) lead the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 106.6 points per contest. On Friday, Oklahoma City outscored Portland by 11 points in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 107-89 home victory. 

Oklahoma City G Aaron Wiggins connected on half of his 26 field goal attempts and led all scorers with 30 points. Alex Caruso chipped in 17 points (6-8 FG) in 24 minutes off the bench. All-Star F Jaylin Williams added ten points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists for the Thunder. 

Denver C Nikola Jokic (ankle) and F Aaron Gordon (ankle) are listed as probable for this contest. These two teams rank in the top seven of the league in tempo, so we should be in for a high-scoring affair. Take the Nuggets to pull off the road upset behind another strong outing from Nikola Jokic.
