Mavericks vs Knicks Picks and Prediction – 3/25/2025

The Mavericks (35-57) are six games below .500 on the road and are clinging to a half-game lead over Phoenix for tenth place in the Western Conference standings. Last night, Dallas raced out to a 15-point lead after one quarter and shot 56 percent from the field during a 120-101 road victory against Brooklyn. 

Naji Marshall led all scorers with 22 points (9-15 FG) and four rebounds in 27 minutes off the Dallas bench. P.J. Washington and Spencer Dinwiddie scored 16 points apiece on a combined 14-for-22 shooting effort. Kai Jones added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Mavericks. 

The New York Knicks have won 23 of their first 34 home games and hold a three-game lead over Indiana for third place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Knicks (44-26) rank fifth in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 116.4 points per contest. On Saturday, New York built a 25-point halftime advantage and coasted to a 122-103 home victory versus lowly Washington. 

All-Star F/C Karl-Anthony Towns tallied a game-high 31 points on 10-for-20 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. New York G Mikal Bridges chipped in 27 points (10-20 FG) and six boards. OG Anunoby added 23 points and three assists for the Knicks, who outrebounded the Wizards by a 49-41 margin. 

New York G Jalen Brunson (ankle) has started on court work and hopes to return to the lineup early next month. The Mavericks are playing at the eighth fastest tempo in the league and are struggling to get stops. Look for the Knicks to win at home in a game that goes over the total.
