Mavericks vs Heat Picks and Prediction – 11/24/2024

On Friday, Dallas shot 51 percent from the field during a 123-120 road victory against Denver. 

Naji Marshall led a balanced Dallas scoring attack with 26 points (11-15 FG) in 26 minutes off the bench. P.J. Washington scored 22 points on 8-for-15 shooting and grabbed 13 rebounds. All-Star G Kyrie Irving added 19 points, six rebounds, and six assists for the Mavericks. 

The Miami Heat are a game below .500 at home and are sitting in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Heat (6-7) rank in the middle of the pack in defensive efficiency and are giving up 110.1 points per game. On Monday, Miami outscored Philadelphia by 19 points during the third quarter of a 106-89 home victory. 

Miami G/F Jimmy Butler tallied a game-high 30 points on 8-for-12 shooting to go along with ten rebounds and five assists. Tyler Herro added 18 points, five rebounds, and five assists. The rest of the Heat starters scored 28 points on a combined 10-for-27 from the field. 

Dallas G Luka Doncic suffered a right wrist strain and will be re-evaluated in a week. Miami G Terry Rozier (foot) practiced on Friday and is expected to play in this game.
