Cavaliers vs Heat Picks and Prediction – 4/26/2025

In the first game of a Saturday NBA on TNT playoff tripleheader, the Cleveland Cavaliers will battle the Miami Heat from the Kaseya Center. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The top-seeded Cavaliers led the league in offensive efficiency during the regular season and have increased their output during the first two games of this series. In Game Two, Cleveland connected on 22-of-45 from the three-point line during a 121-112 home victory. 

All-Star G Donovan Mitchell led five Cleveland players in double figures with 30 points (7-10 3PT), six rebounds, and six assists. All-Star G Darius Garland chipped in 21 points (7-8 FT) and nine assists. All-Star F Evan Mobley added 20 points (7-10 FG) and six boards for the Cavaliers. 

The Miami Heat are a franchise in transition after dealing Jimmy Butler to Golden State and will have to regroup in the offseason. The eighth-seeded Heat need to improve an offense that ranked 21st in efficiency and averaged 110 points per contest. On Wednesday, Miami trimmed a 13-point deficit entering the fourth quarter to two before faltering in the final minutes. 

Miami G Tyler Herro tallied a game-high 33 points (14-24 FG), six rebounds, and five assists. Davion Mitchell scored 18 points on 7-for-9 shooting and dished out six assists. Bam Adebayo added 11 points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists for the Heat. 

Miami F Kevin Love (personal) has not suited up so far this series and his status for the game is uncertain. The Cavaliers and the Celtics appear to be headed on a collision in the Eastern Conference Finals and neither team wants to blink with a first round loss.
