Cavaliers vs Hawks Picks and Prediction – 11/29/2024

On Wednesday, Cleveland missed 33 of 48 three-point attempts during a 135-124 home loss versus Atlanta. 

All-Star G Donovan Mitchell tallied a game-high 30 points on 10-for-24 shooting and dished out seven assists. Cleveland F Evan Mobley scored 22 points to go along with 12 rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Darius Garland added 19 points and seven assists for the Cavaliers. 

The Atlanta Hawks are a game below .500 at home and trail two teams by a game for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Hawks (8-11) rank in the bottom third of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 121.2 points per contest. During Wednesday’s road victory, Atlanta outscored Cleveland 74-60 in the second half. 

De’Andre Hunter led seven Atlanta players in double figures with 26 points (9-16 FG) in 30 minutes off the bench. All-Star G Trae Young carved up the Cleveland defense with 20 points and 22 assists. Number one overall draft pick Zaccharie Risacher added 17 points for the Hawks, who connected on 20-for-42 from the three-point line.

Cleveland G Caris LeVert (knee) did not suit up for Wednesday’s loss and is listed as questionable for this game.
