The Hornets (15-48) have dropped 24 of their first 29 road games and are tied with Utah for the second worst overall record in the NBA. On Saturday, Charlotte outscored Brooklyn by nine points in the fourth quarter to earn a 105-102 home victory. 

Charlotte F Miles Bridges tallied a team-high 26 points (9-20 FG), 12 rebounds, and five assists. Nick Smith Jr. scored 19 points on 6-for-16 shooting. Moussa Diabate added 16 points (8-12 FG) and 15 rebounds for the Hornets, who dominated the Nets on the glass by a 50-37 margin.

The Miami Heat are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and trail Atlanta by a half-game for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Heat (29-34) rank 13th in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 110.5 points per contest. On Saturday, Miami was unable to protect a 17-point lead during a disappointing 114-109 home loss versus Chicago. 

Bam Adebayo and Andrew Wiggins led five Miami players in double figures with 22 points each on a combined 17-for-34 shooting effort. Tyler Herro added 21 points (8-19 FG), eight rebounds, and six assists. Terry Rozier scored 15 points (5-9 FG) in 27 minutes off the Heat bench. 

Miami F Duncan Robinson is bothered by a back issue and is listed as questionable for this contest. These two squads struggle to put the ball in the basket and the Heat are playing at the slowest tempo in the league. Look for Miami to win at home in a game that stays under the total.
