Hornets vs Celtics Picks and Prediction – 4/11/2025

The Hornets (19-61) are looking to snap a five-game losing streak and own the second worst record in the Eastern Conference. On Wednesday, Charlotte was outscored by 22 points during the second half of an ugly 126-96 road loss against Toronto. 

Charlotte G Nick Smith Jr. tallied a game-high 28 points (8-13 FG), ten assists, and six rebounds. Veteran C Jusuf Nurkic added 26 points on 12-for-19 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds. The rest of the starting lineup scored 22 points on a combined 9-for-27 shooting effort for the Hornets. 

The Boston Celtics have won eight of their previous ten games and have clinched the number two seed in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics (59-21) rank second in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 116.4 points per game. On Wednesday, Boston rested their entire starting lineup and shot 39 percent from the field during a 96-76 road loss against Orlando.

Baylor Scheierman and Payton Pritchard led five Boston players in double figures with 15 points apiece on a combined 13-for-31 from the floor. Luke Kornet scored 14 points on a 7-for-10 shooting performance. Neemias Queta added 11 points and seven rebounds off the bench for the Celtics. 

Boston G Jaylen Brown is bothered by a knee injury and will remain sidelined for this contest. The Celtics cannot improve their playoff seeding and could rest several key players once again. Hold your nose and take the points with the Hornets. Final Score Prediction, Boston Celtics win 110-102.
