The Hornets (19-62) are looking to snap a six-game losing streak and own the second worst record in the Eastern Conference. On Friday, Charlotte turned the ball over 17 times and shot an ice cold 39 percent from the field during a 130-94 road loss. 

Seth Curry nailed 5-of-7 from the three-point line and led five Charlotte players in double figures with 17 points. Jusuf Nurkic added 14 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Josh Okogie and Mark Williams scored ten points each for the Celtics, who fell to a dismal 7-33 on the road. 

The Boston Celtics have won eight of their previous ten games and have clinched the second seed in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics (60-21) rank second in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 116.6 points per contest. During Friday’s home victory, Boston connected on 23-of-51 from long distance and shot 52 percent overall.

Payton Pritchard tallied a team-high 22 points on 9-for-11 shooting in just 22 minutes off the Boston bench. Sam Hauser knocked down 6-for-9 from long range and finished with 20 points. All-Star F Jayson Tatum added 16 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists for the Celtics. 

Boston G Jaylen Brown has received pain management injections in his right knee and hopes to be ready for the start of the playoffs. The Hornets will be looking to hit lightning in a bottle in the draft lottery, but that will not help them in the season finale. Take the Boston reserves to win and cover at home.
