Tyrese Martin added 17 points off the bench for the Nets, who connected on 15-for-33 from long distance. 

The Charlotte Hornets are in the midst of a nine-game losing streak and own the second worst overall record in the NBA. The Hornets (14-48) rank near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging a woeful 105.2 points per contest. Last night, Charlotte was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 118-117 home loss versus Cleveland. 

Charlotte F Miles Bridges poured in a game-high 46 points on 15-for-32 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. Lamelo Ball scored 13 points on 4-for-13 from the field and dished out seven assists. Jusuf Nurkic added 12 points, 15 rebounds, and five assists for the Hornets.

Brooklyn F Noah Clowney (ankle) has resumed 5-on-5 work in practice and is nearing a return to action. These two squads rank in the bottom four of the league in offensive efficiency, so the under is worth a look. The stronger play is on the Nets to win on the road.
