Nets vs Hornets Picks and Prediction – 1/30/2025

The Nets (14-33) are looking to snap a seven-game losing streak and are averaging a measly 105.5 points per game for rookie head coach Jordi Fernandez. The Charlotte Hornets have dropped 15 of their first 23 home games and own the second worst overall record in the Eastern Conference. The Hornets (12-31) rank near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring 107.5 points per contest. On Monday, Charlotte trailed by 20 points after one quarter and was unable to slow down Los Angeles F Anthony Davis (42 pts) during a 112-107 home loss. 

Charlotte F Miles Bridges tallied a team-high 26 points on 10-for-23 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. Josh Okogie scored 19 points (6-11 FG) in 25 minutes off the bench. Josh Green added 15 points and three steals for the Hornets, who were outrebounded by a 48-34 margin.

Charlotte G LaMelo Ball was forced to exit Monday’s loss with an ankle injury and is unlikely to play in this game.
