On Tuesday, Boston built a 17-point halftime lead and held on down the stretch to earn a 120-117 home victory versus Cleveland. 

All-Star F Jayson Tatum led six Boston players in double figures with 33 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists. Veteran F Al Horford chipped in 20 points and seven rebounds for the Celtics, who nailed 22-for-41 from the three-point line.

The Washington Wizards are looking to snap a nine-game losing streak and own the second worst overall record in the NBA. The Wizards (2-11) rank last in the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering a shade below 125 points per game. On Monday, Washington allowed New York to shoot a sizzling 56 percent from the field during an ugly 134-106 road loss. 

Rookie G Carlton Carrington, Corey Kispert, and Jonas Valanciunas led Washington with 18 points each on a combined 20-for-40 from the field. Kyle Kuzma added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Wizards, who missed 22 of 33 three-point attempts 

Boston C Kristaps Porzingis (foot) has been practicing with the G-League affiliate and hopes to make his season debut early next month. Boston ranks third in the league in offensive efficiency and will score at will against a porous Washington defense. Loof for the Celtics to win easily in a game that goes over the total.
