All-Star G Jaylen Brown led five Boston players in double figures with 28 points (11-16 FG) and six rebounds. All-Star F Jayson Tatum contributed 27 points, ten assists, and six rebounds. Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick White added 16 points apiece for the Celtics. 

The Philadelphia 76ers are five games below .500 at home and are one game back of Chicago for tenth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The 76ers (19-28) rank in the bottom third of the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 112.6 points per game. On Friday, Philadelphia allowed Denver to shoot an alarming 66 percent from the field during a 137-134 home loss. 

Philadelphia G Tyrese Maxey poured in a game-high 42 points on 15-for-26 shooting and dished out nine assists. Guerschon Yabusele scored 28 points on 12-for-27 from the floor and pulled down seven boards. Kelly Oubre Jr. added 27 points, seven rebounds, and five assists for the 76ers.

Philadelphia C Joel Embiid (knee) and G Paul George (finger) will remain sidelined for this contest. These two teams rank in the bottom three of the league in tempo and the 76ers struggle to score against quality defenses. Look for Boston to win on the road in a game that stays under the total.
