Celtics vs Pacers Picks and Prediction – 10/30/2024

The NBA Champion Celtics (4-0) are one of three undefeated teams and lead the league in offensive efficiency. On Monday, Boston outscored Milwaukee by 11 points during the third quarter to earn a 119-108 home victory versus Milwaukee. 

All-Star G Jaylen Brown led six Boston players in double figures with 30 points (10-14 FT) and six rebounds. Payton Pritchard nailed 8-for-12 from the three-point line and finished with 28 points off the bench. Jrue Holiday added 21 points and four boards for the Celtics.

The Indiana Pacers were swept by Boston in last season’s Eastern Conference Finals and are looking to snap a three-game losing streak. The Pacers (1-3) rank 21st in the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 117.3 points per game. On Monday, Indiana had no answer for All-Star F Paolo Banchero (50 points) during a 119-115 road loss against Orlando. 

Indiana F Pascal Siakam tallied a team-high 26 points on 10-for-18 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds. All-Star G Tyrese Haliburton added 19 points (6-15 FG) and ten assists for the Pacers, who missed ten of 30 free-throw attempts. 

Indiana C Myles Turner is dealing with a left ankle sprain and is considered questionable for this game. The Celtics are executing at a higher rate than last season and are doing a great job taking care of the ball. Look for Boston to get the job done on the road in a game that goes over the total.
