Hawks vs Magic Picks and Prediction – 4/15/2025

The seventh seed in the Eastern Conference will be up for grabs on Tuesday night, when the Atlanta Hawks travel to the Kia Center to take on the Orlando Magic. On Sunday, Atlanta built a 12-point halftime advantage and cruised to a 117-105 home victory versus Orlando. 

Terance Mann led seven Atlanta players in double figures with 19 points (9-14 FG) and four assists. Jacob Toppin and Daeqwon Plowden scored 17 points apiece on a combined 13-for-24 shooting effort. Keaton Wallace added 15 points and 15 assists for the Hawks. 

The Orlando Magic have won seven of their previous ten games and finished three games above .500 at home during the regular season. The Magic (41-41) rank second in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 105.5 points per contest. During Sunday’s road loss, Orlando connected on 15-for-35 from long distance and shot 46 percent overall. 

Orlando G Anthony Black led all scorers with 20 points on 7-for-16 shooting and grabbed ten rebounds. Jett Howard scored 16 points on 7-for-13 shooting in 33 minutes off the bench. Tristan da Silva added 14 points, seven rebounds, and six assists for the Magic. 

Atlanta F Larry Nance Jr. (knee) and Orlando G Jalen Suggs (knee) will be unavailable for the postseason. Before Sunday’s meaningless loss, the Magic took two out of three against the Hawks and averaged close to 113 points. Look for Orlando to control the paint and cover at home.
