Hawks vs Bulls Picks and Prediction – 11/23/2024

The Hawks (7-9) are two games below .500 on the road and are tied with Detroit for sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Wednesday, Atlanta trailed by 19 points after one quarter and could never recover during a 120-97 road loss against Golden State. 

Jalen Johnson led five Atlanta players in double figures with 15 points (6-16 FG) and 14 rebounds. All-Star G Trae Young scored 12 points on an inefficient 4-for-12 shooting and dished out 11 assists. Number one overall pick Zaccharie Risacher added 12 points and eight rebounds for the Hawks.  

The Chicago Bulls have dropped five of their first six home games and are a half-game back of three teams for eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Bulls (6-10) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering a shade below 123 points per game. On Wednesday, Chicago allowed Milwaukee to shoot 55 percent from the field during a 122-106 road loss. 

Zach LaVine led five Chicago players in double figures with 27 points (9-15 FG), six assists, and five rebounds. Torrey Craig added 15 points (6-10 FG) and six rebounds. Nikola Vucevic and Coby White scored 14 points apiece for the Bulls, who connected on 17-for-45 from the three-point line. 

Chicago F Patrick Williams is dealing with a foot injury and will remain sidelined for this contest. These two teams rank in the top three of the league in tempo and neither place a huge emphasis on getting stops. Take the Bulls to win at home in what will be a high-scoring affair.
