Nationals vs Orioles Picks and Prediction – 5/18/2025

On Saturday, Baltimore SP Kyle Gibson (0-3) surrendered six runs and recorded just two outs. 2B Jackson Holliday hit a three-run blast in a losing effort for the Orioles (15-29), who fell to 8-14 at home.

Thirty-one year old righty Zach Eflin (3-1 3.13 ERA) is expected to provide a much needed boost to the Baltimore rotation. Last time out, Eflin (5 IP) allowed two runs and fanned five batters during a 7-3 road victory against Los Angeles.  

Baltimore 2B Jordan Westburg (hamstring) suffered a setback in his recovery and is without a timetable to return. Through 47 games, Washington ranks 21st in OPS and 16th in runs scored.
