C Austin Wells went 2-for-3 and drove in a run for the Yankees (15-11), who wasted five shutout frames from Carlos Carrasco. 

Thirty-one year old southpaw Max Fried (4-0 1.42 ERA) has acclimated himself to New York quite nicely. Through 31 plus innings, Fried has allowed two long balls and struck out 30 batters while posting a sparkling 1.01 WHIP.

New York DH Giancarlo Stanton (elbow) took batting practice on the field on Tuesday and hopes to make his season debut later next month. Through 26 games, Toronto ranks 25th in OPS and 25th in runs scored. For the regular season, New York ranks 2nd in OPS and 2nd in runs scored. Take the over.
