Beautiful Camden Yards will play host to a Tuesday night AL East Division clash between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Baltimore Orioles. Be ready for the baseball season with all of our MLB predictions. The Blue Jays (50-57) are stuck in last place and have been forced into sell mode before Tuesday’s MLB Trade Deadline. In the second game of last night’s doubleheader, All Star 1B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. doubled three times and went deep to power Toronto to an 8-4 road victory against Baltimore. 

Thirty-five year old righty Chris Bassitt (8-9 3.78 ERA) will take the mound for the Blue Jays in this matchup. Toronto has lost three of Bassitt’s last four starts and he has given up 15 runs over his last 21 plus frames. 

The Baltimore Orioles are seven games above .500 at home and are clinging to a half-game lead over New York for first place. In the opening game of Monday’s doubleheader, Baltimore 1B Ryan Mountcastle had an RBI single and scored a run during the opening frame of an 11-5 home victory. Mountcastle and Anthony Santander each homered for the Orioles, who are 63-44 overall.

The Orioles will counter with All-Star SP Corbin Burnes (10-4 2.45 ERA) on Tuesday. Through 132 innings, Burnes has allowed 15 home runs and fanned 121 batters while posting a sparkling 1.04 WHIP.
