On Sunday, SP Dean Kremer (4-5) scattered seven hits across five plus innings to lead Baltimore to a 5-1 road victory against Boston. Ryan O’Hearn and Dylan Carlson each went deep to provide the offense for the Orioles, who improved to 18-34 on the year. 

Interim Baltimore manager Tony Mansolino has yet to name a starting pitcher for the series opener. The Orioles currently rank second worst in the majors with a 5.61 ERA and have logged 13 quality starts. 

St. Louis 1B Willson Contreras was held out of Sunday’s lineup with a back issue and is listed as day-to-day. Through 53 games, St. Louis ranks 10th in OPS and 8th in runs scored.
