Giants vs Rangers Prediction

Globe Life Field will play host to a Sunday afternoon MLB interleague clash between the San Francisco Giants and the Texas Rangers. Be ready for the baseball season with all of our MLB predictions. The Giants (32-33) have won three straight games and are eight games off the pace in the NL West Division race. On Saturday, OF Heliot Ramos homered and drove in three runs to lead San Francisco to a 3-1 road victory against Texas.

Twenty-six year old righty Keaton Winn (3-6 6.17 ERA) will come off the 15-day injured list to start for the Giants. Winn, who was sidelined with a forearm injury, has surrendered 17 runs across his last eight plus frames.

The Texas Rangers are two games below .500 at home and trail AL West Division leading Seattle by five games. During yesterday’s home loss, Texas batters went 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position and left seven men on base. SP Andrew Heaney (2-7) gave up three runs in five plus innings and took the loss for the Rangers, who fell to 30-34 overall.

The Rangers will counter with hard-throwing righty Nathan Eovaldi (2-2 2.70 ERA) in the series finale. Through 50 innings of work, Eovaldi has allowed four home runs and struck out 53 batters while posting a solid 1.12 WHIP.
