On Monday, All-Star 3B Jose Ramirez started the scoring for Cleveland with a three-run blast and added an RBI single. OF Steven Kwan went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored for the Guardians (13-9), who improved to 6-1 at home.

The Guardians will give the nod to twenty-six year old righty Tanner Bibee (1-2 5.85 ERA) on Tuesday. Last time out, Bibee was tagged for six runs across five plus frames during a 6-2 road loss against Baltimore. 

New York SP Marcus Stroman (knee) has resumed playing catch and hopes to return to the rotation early next month. Through 23 games, New York ranks 1st in OPS and 2nd in runs scored.
