Last night, 3B Oswaldo Cabrera hit a two-run blast to lift New York to a 2-0 road victory against Baltimore. 

Thirty-one year old southpaw Carlos Rodon (2-1 2.48 ERA) will take the mound for the Yankees in this matchup. Last time out, Rodon (6 IP) allowed one run and struck out eight batters during a 15-3 road triumph against Milwaukee.

The Baltimore Orioles have one of the most talented lineups in baseball and are four games above .500 at home. During Wednesday’s home loss, Baltimore was limited to three hits and struck out ten times. SP Corbin Burnes (3-1) gave up two run in six innings and took the loss for the Orioles, who fell to 19-11 overall. 

Baltimore manager Brandon Hyde has yet to announce a starting pitcher for the series finale. The Orioles currently rank 11th in the majors with a 3.68 ERA and have struck out nearly a batter an inning.
