The Mets have scored four runs or more in 11 of their last 15 contests and erupted for double digit runs during last night’s road triumph against the Yankees.

New York SS Francisco Lindor has been one of the best players at his position over the last decade. Lindor has raised his batting average 70 points since moving into the leadoff spot. Through 101 games, Francisco leads the Mets with 68 runs scored to go along with 60 RBIs. Lindor homered twice last night and drove in five runs. He also has collected 13 hits in 31 career at-bats against Atlanta SP Chris Sale.

J.D. Martinez

New York signed thirty-six year old slugger J.D. Martinez a few weeks prior to Opening Day to provide much needed lineup protection for Pete Alonso. J.D. is a six-time All-Star and clubbed 33 home runs a season ago. Martinez has racked up six hits over his last five games and has taken Sale deep three times in 38 career at-bats.
