The Minnesota Twins are two games below .500 at home and looking to jump start an offense that has scored just 62 runs. On Tuesday, talented OF Byron Buxton went 2-for-4 and scored a pair of runs to spark the Minnesota offense. SP Bailey Ober (1-1) allowed three runs across six plus frames to earn the win for the Twins (6-12), who went 5-for-14 with runners in scoring position. 

Minnesota manager Rocco Baldelli will give the nod to right-hander David Festa (0-0 0.00 ERA) on Wednesday. In his first start, Festa (4.2 IP) gave up one unearned run and fanned four batters during a 7-6 home loss versus Detroit. 

New York OF Jose Siri suffered a fractured left tibia and is expected to be sidelined until early July. Through 17 games, New York ranks 21st in OPS and 15th in runs scored.
