The Boston Red Sox have won 13 of their first 24 home games and trail AL East Division leading New York by 4.5 games. During Monday’s home victory, leadoff hitter Jarren Duran totaled five bases and scored a run to spark the Boston offense. Rookie SP Hunter Dobbins allowed one run across four plus frames and did not factor in the decision for the Red Sox (24-25).

Thirty year old right-hander Walker Buehler (4-1 4.28 ERA) will come off the 15-day injured list to take the ball for the Red Sox. Buehler, who had been sidelined since late April with a shoulder injury, owns a 1.22 WHIP so far this season.

New York SP Sean Manaea (oblique) will throw a bullpen session on Tuesday and is expected to make his season debut next month. Through 48 games, New York ranks 6th in OPS and 12th in runs scored.
