The Minnesota Twins have dropped eight of their previous 11 games and are 10.5 games out of first place in the AL Central Division. During Friday’s home loss, OF Matt Wallner finally put Minnesota on the scoreboard in the seventh inning with a two-run shot. SP Joe Ryan (7-3) gave up three runs across five plus frames and took the loss for the Twins (37-38), who fell to 20-13 at home. 

Minnesota manager Rocco Baldelli will give the nod to righty Simeon Woods Richardson (2-3 5.13 ERA) on Saturday. Last time out, Woods Richardson fired five shutout frames during a 2-1 road loss against Houston. 

Minnesota 3B Royce Lewis has landed on the 10-day injured list with a hamstring issue and is eligible to return on Tuesday. Through 76 games, Milwaukee ranks 24th in OPS and 13th in runs scored.
