The Nationals were swept at New York during the week and have fallen 14 games out of first place in the NL East Division. Second-year OF James Wood leads Washington with 16 home runs, 45 RBIs and a healthy .374 on-base percentage. 

Thirty-three year old righty Trevor Williams (3-7 5.91 ERA) has struggled to pitch well at home for the Nationals. In seven home starts, Williams is 1-4 with a 6.68 ERA and has struck out 29 batters.

Washington OF Dylan Crews (oblique) has yet to resume baseball activities and remains without a timetable to return. Through 67 games, Miami ranks 21st in OPS and 24th in runs scored.
