The Mets’ bullpen has held opponents to a .201 average. Even with several players like Drew Gilbert and Rafael Ortega on short IL stints, New York’s depth is holding up well. 

The Mets are simply executing better in close games and have the bullpen edge in this one. Holmes has kept the ball in the park and if Alonso stays hot, New York should be in control.
