The Los Angeles Dodgers have reeled off four straight victories and are clinging to a one-game lead over San Francisco for the top spot in the NL West Division. During Tuesday’s home victory, three-time MVP Shohei Ohtani led off for Los Angeles with his seventh home run of the year. All-Star 1B Freddie Freeman added a pair of doubles and scored twice for the Dodgers (20-10), who improved to 14-3 at home. 

Thirty year old righty-hander Tony Gonsolin will make his first start of the year for the Dodgers. Gonsolin, who has not appeared in a major league game since 2023, is 1-1 with a 3.23 ERA through four rehab starts at Triple-A Oklahoma City this year.

Los Angeles SP Tyler Glasnow has been placed on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation. Through 29 games, Miami ranks 16th in OPS and 13th in runs scored.
