The Baltimore Orioles have won seven of their last ten games and are trying to climb out of the AL East Division cellar. During the first game of yesterday’s doubleheader, Gunnar Henderson delivered a pinch-hit two-run shot to lift Baltimore to a 3-1 home victory versus the New York Mets. In the second game, 2B Jordan Westburg homered and drove in three runs to lead the Orioles (42-50) to a 7-2 victory.

The Orioles will counter with twenty-nine year old righty Dean Kremer (7-7 4.53 ERA) in the series opener. Last time out, Kremer (4.1 IP) gave up eight hits and five runs during a 9-6 road victory against Atlanta. 

Baltimore C Adley Rutschman (oblique) hit off a tee on Wednesday and hopes to return later this month. Through 92 games, Miami ranks 17th in OPS and 19th in runs scored.
