Dodgers vs Blue Jays Picks and Prediction – 4/27/2024

The Saturday MLB schedule will get underway with a matinee between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays from the Rogers Centre. Last night, Los Angeles C Will Smith fell a triple short of the cycle and scored three times during a 12-2 road triumph against Toronto.  

Thirty year old right-hander Tyler Glasnow (4-1 2.92 ERA) will take the mound for the Dodgers in this matchup. Last time out, Glasnow (8 IP) scattered seven hits and fanned ten batters during a 10-0 home victory versus New York. 

The Toronto Blue Jays are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and are currently in last place in the competitive AL East Division. On Friday, Toronto SP Chris Bassitt (2-4) was tagged for nine hits and seven runs in a losing effort. C Dan Jansen hit a solo shot for the Blue Jays (13-14), who fell to a respectable 6-4 at home. 

The Blue Jays will counter with thirty-two year old southpaw Yusei Kikuchi (2-1 2.28 ERA) on Saturday. Toronto has won Kikuchi’s last two starts and he has allowed three runs over his last 12 innings.
