The Angels are shaky on the mound with a 4.87 ERA and 1.38 WHIP. The bullpen has been hit hard, especially with Ben Joyce, Sam Bachman, and Robert Stephenson all sidelined. Soriano has been solid with a 1.00 WHIP and 18 strikeouts across 20 innings, but he’s walked eight. The defense will need to tighten up to support him.

Pitching has kept Texas in games, with a 3.85 ERA and a strong 1.17 WHIP. Mahle’s been excellent, allowing just five hits and zero homers over 13.2 innings. The staff has issued only 42 walks while striking out 129. Even with injuries to Langford, Jack Leiter, and Cody Bradford, the Rangers' bullpen has held up. 

Texas has the better pitching staff right now, and Mahle has looked sharp early on with a 1.32 ERA and zero home runs allowed. Combine that with the Angels’ 4.87 team ERA and some key bullpen injuries, and it gives the edge to the home team.
