The Twins will give the nod to twenty-five year old righty Zebby Matthews (0-1 12.00 ERA) on Saturday. In his first start of the season, Matthews (3 IP) surrendered four runs and fanned five batters during a 5-2 road loss against Milwaukee. 

Kansas City SP Cole Ragans (groin) has been placed on the 15-day injured list and will not pitch in this series. Through 52 games, Kansas City ranks 25th in OPS and 26th in runs scored.
