AL Central Division rivals will square off on Saturday afternoon, when the Kansas City Royals and the Detroit Tigers continue their weekend series from Comerica Park. The Tigers will counter with 2018 number one overall draft pick Casey Mize (2-1 2.60 ERA) on Saturday. Through 17 plus innings, Mize has allowed two long balls and fanned 15 batters while posting a sparkling 1.04 WHIP.

Detroit OF Manuel Margot (knee) went through sprint drills on Friday and is eligible to return from the injured list this week.
