Tigers vs Blue Jays Picks and Prediction – 5/17/2025

SP Bowden Francis (2-6) gave up four runs in four plus innings and took the loss for the Blue Jays (21-23), who improved to 12-11 at home. 

Toronto skipper John Schneider has yet to name a starting pitcher for Saturday. The Blue Jays currently rank in the bottom third of the majors with a 4.40 ERA and have logged 13 quality starts. 

Detroit OF Parker Meadows (arm) threw to bases on Wednesday and is getting ready to embark on a rehab assignment. Through 45 games, Detroit ranks 6th in OPS and 3rd in runs scored.
