Colorado Rockies MLB Prop Bets - Thursday 9/5/24
The Colorado Rockies are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and own the worst overall record in the National League. The Colorado bullpen ranks last in the majors with a 5.52 ERA and the lineup will have to score to stay competitive. Despite the struggles, there are a few players to target for props on a daily basis. For other MLB news see our MLB Picks.
Colorado Rockies Over 3.5 Runs
Ezequiel Tovar Over 1.5 Hits, Runs, and RBIs
Brenton Doyle Over 0.5 Home Runs
Colorado Rockies
With 22 games remaining in the season, the Colorado Rockies rank 17th in the majors in OPS and are averaging 4.24 runs per game. The Rockies have scored just three runs total over their last three games, but had scored 34 times in the seven games prior. Atlanta SP Reynaldo Lopez (8-4 2.00 ERA) has been hot lately, which makes him due for a rough outing.
Pick: Colorado Rockies Over 3.5 Runs (+115)
Ezequiel Tovar
Twenty-three year old righty Ezequiel Tovar has settled in nicely as Colorado’s everyday SS and is hitting near the top of the order. Through 136 games, Tovar owns a solid .268 batting average to go along with 73 runs scored and 63 RBIs. During last night’s 5-2 road loss, Tovar went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts and we like him to bounce back.
Pick: Ezequiel Tovar Over 1.5 Hits, Runs, and RBIs
Brenton Doyle
Twenty-six year old OF Brenton Doyle is putting together a breakout season for the Rockies. Doyle was named the National League Player of the Month for July and led all players with 11 home runs. Brenton leads Colorado with 22 home runs and he is an outstanding value to find the cheap seats against the Braves.
Pick: Brenton Doyle 0.5 Home Runs
