Colorado Rockies MLB Prop Bets - Saturday 8/31/24

The Colorado Rockies are a few games below .500 at home and are stuck in the NL West Division basement. The Colorado bullpen ranks last in the majors with a 5.63 ERA and the lineup will have to score to stay competitive. Despite the struggles, there are a few players to target for props on a daily basis. For other MLB news see our MLB Picks.

Colorado Rockies Over 5.5 Runs

Ezequiel Tovar Over 1.5 Hits, Runs, and RBIs

Brenton Doyle Over 0.5 Home Runs

Colorado Rockies

With one month remaining in the season, the Colorado Rockies rank 14th in the majors in OPS and are averaging 4.33 runs per game. The Rockies split their four-game series against visiting Miami and scored 27 runs. Colorado will face Baltimore SP Dean Kremer (6-9 4.31 ERA), who has surrendered 14 runs over his last 27 plus frames.

Pick: Colorado Rockies Over 5.5 Runs

Ezequiel Tovar

Twenty-three year old righty Ezequiel Tovar has settled in nicely as Colorado’s everyday SS and is hitting near the top of the order. Through 127 games, Tovar owns an impressive .273 batting average to go along with 72 runs scored and 62 RBIs. During Thursday’s home loss, Ezequiel doubled and scored a run.

Pick: Ezequiel Tovar Over 1.5 Hits, Runs, and RBIs

Brenton Doyle

Twenty-six year old OF Brenton Doyle is putting together a breakout season for the Rockies. Doyle was named the National League Player of the Month for July and led all players with 11 home runs. Brenton leads Colorado with 22 home runs and is a good bet to go deep against Kremer, who has given up 15 long balls in just 102 plus innings this season.

Pick: Brenton Doyle 0.5 Home Runs
