Rockies vs Marlins Picks and Prediction – 6/3/2025

The Tuesday MLB schedule will get underway with a battle between the Colorado Rockies and the Miami Marlins from loanDepot Park. Be ready for the baseball season with all of our MLB predictions. Last night, C Hunter Goodman homered twice and scored three runs to power Colorado to a 6-4 road victory against Miami. 

Twenty-seven year old righty Tanner Gordon (1-2 4.24 ERA) will make his fourth start of the year for the Rockies. Last time out, Gordon (4.2 IP) gave up six hits and two runs during a 2-1 road loss against Chicago. 

The Miami Marlins are four games below .500 at home and are stuck in the NL East Division basement. During Monday’s home loss, Miami batters went 3-for-16 with runners in scoring position and left nine men on base. SP Max Meyer (3-5) was tagged for ten hits and five runs in a losing effort for the Marlins, who fell to 23-35 overall. 

The Marlins will counter with 2022 NL Cy Young Award winner Sandy Alcantara (2-7 8.47 ERA) on Tuesday. Miami has been victorious just once in Alcantara’s previous five starts and he has surrendered 25 runs over his last 25 innings. 

Colorado SP Chase Dollander (foreram) threw live batting practice on Tuesday and is expected to return to the rotation in a week. Through 61 games, Colorado ranks 30th in OPS and 30th in runs scored.
