The Thursday MLB schedule will get underway with a matinee between the Colorado Rockies and the Miami Marlins from loanDepot Park. Be ready for the baseball season with all of our MLB predictions.The Rockies (7-23) are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and own the worst overall record in the National League. Last night, Colorado was limited to four hits and committed a pair of errors during a 4-1 road loss against Miami. 

Twenty-seven year old Peter Lambert (2-1 4.67 ERA) will make his second start of the season for the Rockies. Lambert, who has worked primarily in relief this season, has struck out 15 batters and owns a 1.33 WHIP through 17 plus innings. 

The Miami Marlins have dropped 15 of their first 19 home games and are trapped in the NL East Division basement. During Wednesday’s home victory, Luis Arraez got Miam on the scoreboard first with an RBI single and Bryan De La Cruz followed with a run-scoring double. SP Roddery Munoz (1-0) fanned seven batters across six solid innings to earn the win for the Marlins, who improved to 8-24 on the year. 

Miami manager Skip Schumaker will give the nod to talented righty Edward Cabrera (1-1 5.28 ERA) on Thursday. Through 15 plus frames, Cabrera has allowed one home run and struck out 21 batters.
