SP Spencer Strider (1-5) fanned 13 batters across six shutout frames to earn the win for the Braves (31-38), who improved to 19-14 at home. 

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker will turn to NL Cy Young Award winner Chris Sale (4-4 2.79 ERA) on Sunday. Last time out, Sale (7 IP) allowed one run and struck out 11 batters during a 7-1 road victory against Milwaukee. 

Colorado OF Kris Bryant (back) played catch prior to Tuesday’s game and is expected to return at the beginning of next month. Through 70 games, Colorado ranks 28th in OPS and 30th in runs scored.
