During Monday’s home victory, Kyle Stowers delivered a pinch-hit three-run blast to give Miami a 6-0 advantage. SP Max Meyer (2-2) fanned 14 batters across six shutout frames to earn the win for the Marlins, who improved to 10-12 overall.  

The Marlins will counter with hard-throwing righty Edward Cabrera (0-1 6.52 ERA) on Tuesday. In his last start, Cabrera (4 IP) walked three batters and gave up five runs during a 6-4 home loss versus Arizona. 

Miami OF Griffin Conine has been placed on the 60-day injured list with a dislocated left shoulder. Through 23 games, Cincinnati ranks 9th in OPS and 4th in runs scored.
