Reds vs Tigers Picks and Prediction – 6/14/2025

During Friday’s home victory, 2B Gleyber Torres hit two of Detroit’s four long balls and drove in three runs. SS Javier Baez also went deep and scored three runs for the Tigers (46-25), who improved to 24-9 at home.  

The Tigers will counter with twenty-nine year old righty Jack Flaherty (5-6 3.41 ERA) on Saturday. Detroit has won Flaherty’s last three starts and he has allowed just one run over his last 18 innings of work. 

Cincinnati SP Hunter Greene (back/groin) is currently on the 15-day injured list and will not pitch in this series. Through 70 games, Cincinnati ranks 12th in OPS and 10th in runs scored.
