Reds vs Guardians Picks and Prediction – 6/9/2025

On Sunday, C Bo Naylor went 3-for-4 with a two-run shot to power Cleveland to a 4-2 home victory versus Houston. SP Tanner Bibee allowed two runs in six plus innings and did not factor in the decision for the Guardians (34-30), who improved to 18-13 at home. 

Cleveland manager Terry Francona will turn to right-hander Luis Ortiz (3-6 4.02 ERA) in the series opener. Last time out, Ortiz (5.2 IP) fanned seven batters and allowed just three hits during a 4-0 road victory against New York. 

Cincinnati OF Austin Hays (foot) could be cleared for running this week and hopes to return later this month. Through 66 games, Cincinnati ranks 12th in OPS and 8th in runs scored.
