Cubs vs Marlins Picks and Prediction – 5/19/2025

The Marlins will counter with hard-throwing righty Edward Cabrera (0-1 5.52 ERA) in the series opener. In his last start, Cabrera (5 IP) allowed three hits and one run during a 3-1 road victory against the Chicago White Sox. 

Chicago OF Ian Happ is on the 10-day injured list with an oblique strain and hopes to return later this month. Through 47 games, Chicago ranks 4th in OPS and 2nd in runs scored.
