Cubs vs Orioles Picks and Prediction – 7/9/2024

The Baltimore Orioles are 12 games above .500 at home and hold a three-game lead over New York for the top spot in the AL East Division. On Sunday, Heston Kjerstad’s three-run blast in the first inning propelled Baltimore to a 6-3 road victory against Oakland. All-Star OF Anthony Santander added a pair of hits and scored twice for the Orioles (57-33), who improved to 28-16 on the road.

Baltimore manager Brandon Hyde will give the nod to twenty-eight year old righty Dean Kremer (4-4 3.93 ERA) on Tuesday. Last time out, Kremer fanned eight batters across five shutout frames during a 4-1 road victory against Seattle.
