Orioles vs Tigers Picks and Prediction – 4/27/2025

The Detroit Tigers have won 12 of their first 15 home games and own a one-game lead over Cleveland for the top spot in the AL Central Division. In the second game of yesterday’s doubleheader, Riley Greene provided all the offense Detroit would need with a second-inning three-run blast. 1B Spencer Torkelson added a two-run double for the Tigers, who improved to 17-10 overall. 

The Tigers will counter with reigning AL Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal (2-2 2.83 ERA) in the series finale. Last time out, Skubal (5 IP) gave up seven hits and two runs during a 4-3 home loss versus Kansas City. 

Baltimore SP Grayson Rodriguez has been diagnosed with a mild right lat strain and hopes to return later next month. Through 26 games, Baltimore ranks 21st in OPS and 18th in runs scored.
