Thirty-two year old righty Erick Fedde (3-9 4.79 ERA) will head to the hill for the Cardinals in this contest. The Cardinals have dropped Fedde’s previous three starts and he has surrendered 17 runs over his last nine innings. 

Atlanta SP Spencer Schwellenbach (elbow) has been transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day injured list. Through 93 games, Atlanta ranks 22nd in OPS and 25th in runs scored.
